Kell wrote: I have come to believe it is humidity also, which I do not have. My Rosamond has never been dark like Kristi's, ever ever. At times I do get some hot heat, but mostly it is on the 70's. Margie, you are hotter and cooler than I am I do believe. I am right by the bay. That is why when I get a dark pink, I am so thrilled!!!! But yellows and oranges get real dark here. I also read Monika's book very carefully and found an ingredient she thinks helps darken brugs. I bought it 2 years ago and sprinkled it everywhere. I wonder if it took effect for some brugs. LOL At the end of last season I got some real dark ones. I am waiting on pins and needles to see if they are dark in mid summer. I also can't wait to see them bloom in a hot humid area to see if they are drop dead dark there. EDITED TO SAY: OH GOSH............. I just was rereading this thread and saw my March 6th post. I thought we were talking about Rosabelle. So I edited my comment that day too. HELP ME, I AM SO CONFUSED ALL THE TIME. LOL This message was edited Mar 15, 2005 11:43 AM |
