MaVieRose wrote: i do not know Doris, but they are very much alive. we will see 2 weeks from now, how they will be doing. i will keep them where they are, and see how they will fare, and will keep u posted. i was just out there, taking limbs that broke. i and the brugs had never experienced fresh snow this heavy in the 7 yrs of living here. this is the 1st for me and the brugs. what is funny is... we are not suppose to get our 1st frost till Dec. 8. we never experience the lower 20's until late Spring of the following year. i guess more lessons for me to learn in the most immediate future. i know for a fact, that if i leave brugs on the ground, some will come back others will succumb. the only way i can be assured is to get cuttings or pot the mother plants and keep them exposed to the elements. i am so glad i got some brugs to experiment. Daybreak is so sturdy, not one limb broke, even though the top growths were buried in the snow. |
