Both Renee and I were able to get some blooms this year.
In Wisconsin yet !

Surely due to the cool summer we had. The one day it did get up to 91°
.............. I coud see my sangs start to melt.
I am sure this will not happen for me again unless the weather stays on the wrong track next year too.

But, I will not do anything special for them. IMO , they are not very pretty, they have small blooms and had no fragrance.

Compared to the "Belle of the Ball" type brug blooms , a sanguinea was described as a well dressed woman in business suit.

The bud on my red sang was stuffed and by the time I decided to cut it open to pollinate, the flower inside was moldy )':
