Living in zone 8b, I've moved my two coleus plants indoors so I'll be growing all starts indoors. What type of soil mixture should I use for a new start? I have "whitney farms" potting soil, my favorite, a huge bag of perilite, cactus soil mix, and organic compost. I've never tried to grow a start before. How moist should I keep the soil mixture. The only "misters" I have are the spray bottles. How often should I mist the new start? How long does it take for new leaf growth?
