Blush tops the list, growing like a wild thing in filtered shade; Creamsickle has more blooms than is healthy for it almost, but no branches actually broke; she's in full sun. Ecuador Pink has astounded me this summer, in it's second year, with up to a hundred blooms in a flush several times, in part shade. Cool blush did her best in early spring, with constant blooms until it got into the harsh heat of summer. She took any pollen offered and made seed pods with it. She's in full sun. First day has also been an almost non-stop bloomer, and sets seed well. I have one in shade, one in sun, and both do equally well. Here's a pic of Ecuador early on. It's twice that size now. |
