Most floriforous in your climate

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

I would love to know what brug you have that is the most floriforous, including starting early. Please denote where you live and growing conditions (hot, sunny, or cool, or shady). Perhaps this will help folks like me who are relatively new to brugs to chose more wisely instead of wasting a few years trying out varieties that won't work for a given area.
Isabella has been my best, at my cool shady mountain property.

Columbia, SC(Zone 8a)

Woodspirit, I would be interested in seeing the same list. I'm finally getting some blooms for the first time this summer. Maybe it has to do with temp, maybe day-length, maybe the AP that was applied 6-8 wks ago. This is my first full year with brugs, I got my first ones last summer. So far, Dr Seuss has bloomed for me several times and is budded up now for another flush.

Barnesville, GA(Zone 8a)

So far for me, in this order: Gypsy Queen, Butterfly, Dr. Seuss.
Since most of the others are so young, I'll give them time to show their stuff, DMV looks like it will make the list :)

And Betty, you ought to know where I live, 15 minutes from High Falls :) These are all growing in full sun (4 pm shade) in hot, humid mid Ga.

Vi, what is DMV? Only thing comes to my mind is Department of Motor Vehicles.

Harlem, GA(Zone 8a)

lhughes, as hot as it gets in Columbia, I hope you have them in (at least) part shade. Can anyone report on Charles Grimaldi?
Vi, what color is Dr. Seuss?

I am in zone 7 as well. We have a climate with mild windy winters and cool, often cloudy summers. Charles Grimaldi loves it here. Capsid bugs can be a little of a problem eating the small buds of, but can that be overcome big flushes is no problem. The picture is taken in the wintergarden, but all the buds in this flush was builded outside in the garden during September.

Sorry about the DMB, (Donna's Monster Brug).

Betty, DS is many colors, usually deep yellow turning pumpkin orange, here's the latest colors, but I'll add the others there too. http://davesgarden.com/forums/t/454693/

There is quite a controversy over CG, most folks are unsure if they have CG or DS (me included). I would stick with DS for the many colors.

Well, to tell the truth, Afterglow runs yellow and peach too. Gone2seed gave me one and I loved it. It hasn't liked moving from Florida to the cool mtns. here, and refuses to grow, but a sucker is doing well and is now taller than the original plant so I will take cuttings.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I have several new ones that I'm trialing for people that have bloomed very well for me this year, but of the older known brugs, my best bloomers have been Golden Lady, Butterfly, Pink Beauty, and Versicolor Peach.

Ozark, AL(Zone 8b)

Zone 8b, the summer has been horribly hot and humid. The following bloomed best for me in cooler weather, but had heavy flushes all along .
Blush tops the list, growing like a wild thing in filtered shade; Creamsickle has more blooms than is healthy for it almost, but no branches actually broke; she's in full sun.
Ecuador Pink has astounded me this summer, in it's second year, with up to a hundred blooms in a flush several times, in part shade.
Cool blush did her best in early spring, with constant blooms until it got into the harsh heat of summer. She took any pollen offered and made seed pods with it. She's in full sun.
First day has also been an almost non-stop bloomer, and sets seed well. I have one in shade, one in sun, and both do equally well. Here's a pic of Ecuador early on. It's twice that size now.
