They like bare ground like this and are not harmful to humans. If you get too close, they act agitated, but I\'ve never been stung. I just step back and she goes back to her duties. Here is a picture of one of the busy little mothers. A beneficial insect to have around. Your hole could be something else, but this is what came to mind. |
