The positive reviews i see I truly believe are people on the spore store team.
I set account up. Placed order paying via Amazon e card their “NEW EASY” way to pay. $79.96. I received a order number during checkout. Once submitting payment I heard nothing. Only email I have from “company” (scammers) is from when I set up a spore store account. Order placed 11/27/21. Four open tickets requesting order packaged, being processed maybe even a shipment verification. Nope no tracking no nothing. Not a lot of money but stealing is stealing.

I've ordered previously from them without any problems but the,last 2 times I received nothing but water, I've contacted them twice without any resolution, they are nothing but scammers

After using them twice successfully in the past, I reordered a spore syringe. It failed, costing me two spawn bags. A month setback later, they sent me a replacement for the syringe which I inoculated two more spawn bags which failed...no mycelium, no contamination...just sweaty spawn. They sent me a third syringe...I ordered two more spawn bags and a syringe from Premium Spores. I inoculated one bag with PS, and one with SS. I have one spawn bag with mycelium...that's right, you guessed it...the Premium Spore syringe. After costing me nearly $100 in wasted spawn bags and shipping, I still have nothing to show for all that. Lesson learned? I'll not use Spore Store in the future and I urge anyone considering purchasing spores from them to save themselves the expense and all the wasted time and effort. Saving a few bucks is not what will happen.

Extremely extremely extremely pleased!!?

I’m a very skeptical individual so I compared multiple sites and options—Spore Store had the cheapest prices, and an array of options in all categories stemming from spores, to supplies, to brand paraphernalia. With all of the options there was a little bit of confusion on my end so I emailed customer support, and I forgot her full name but I remember her first name is Michelle—she was BEYOND patient with me, and so kind. Usually with customer service for things like this you get half assed responses, if any at all, but not here. Michelle made sure I was more than taken care of, and even compensated me upon a mishap that was my fault. Though new to them, they made me feel like apart of the family, and I’m looking forward to joining this botany community!

I was nervous about ordering becouse of the negative reviews but decided to give them a chance, and i have to say there has been nothing negative in my experience at all. They had good customer service, the products came quickly and inoculated beautifully. I recommend this company. Im surprised at the price as well. They are cheaper then other companies which i was suspicious of at first, but sure as day there coming along. Thanks sporestore, youve got a new customer!

Purchased several years ago all was good but tried them again @ the end of 2019 & had nothing but non viable spores or contamination galore same contamination as other post. They did replace half of the 20 spore syringes but those were just as bad as the originals.

spore product-purchased 2 syringes one had no production at all. The second did appear to have some GT, but it was mostly contamination of purple fungus.
I also bought B+ from another supplier, the difference was evident from the start. PreimiumSpore's syringe actually had visible clumps of spores vs spore store which looked like tap water. Will never use this company again.

Background:
1) Ordered 12 pre-sterilized myco jars and some spore syringes.
2) Very unfortunate timing because the shipment froze during the polar vortex of 2019, delaying shipments and freezing the liquid suspension the spores were in, damaging them. This was clear under microscope.
3) Several of the myco jars were contaminated, though the vector of contamination was not known Our lab works under sterile conditions, and the jars were advertised as pre-sterilized, so contamination should not have been possible if the product arrived as advertised. Still, it did not arrive as advertised.

Experience:
1) I emailed them and explained the situation.
2) They responded within 72 hours asking for pictures of the faulty products, pictures of our working space, and an explanation of our methods. A fair request, since there are a lot of new people who accidentally contaminate their own cultures.
3) Upon review of the evidence and testimony provided, they agreed to replace all the myco jars as a faulty batch.
4) Despite -20F temperatures that none of us could have expected, they did agree to replace half of the spore syringes I ordered. I consider it equitable that they accept half the cost of this unfortunate weather-based damage, while I accepted the other half of the cost. 50/50 over an act of nature.
5) During all this conversation, customer service responded to emails always within 24 hours, and sometimes within 1 hour.
6) The new shipment arrived within 72 hours.

Product:
1) The myco jars are a good design for small-batch growth intended for growing research samples.
2) The spore syringes were roughly equivalent in volume to other providers. The spores tend to cling to the plunger, however, so giving them a good shake will help break-up clumping.
3) The spores in the syringes during the 2nd batch (the order that did not freeze during shipping) were viable and in an acceptable condition for observation.

Limitations of Review:
1) The new myco jars have not yet had enough time. It is yet uncertain whether these jars will also be contaminated.

Overall Experience:
Friendly, responsive, and fair. Pricing about average. Variety of products about average. My expectations of a small business were met. Would recommend.

I'm pretty new to this, however I had purchased products from other companies before. I ordered 10 syringes.
I received a "spore print". I didn't even know what that was. I opened the package and obviously contaminated whatever they sent me.
it took nearly two weeks to get this product and then it wasn't even what I ordered!

I purchased a 4 pack last year. Nothing grew. No response when I emailed them. Thought I'd give them a try again this year. I put a different address for billing different than credit card so they would have to call me to process card info. After 5 days, I emailed them asking about order. No reply. Wait another 4 days and I sent an email asking to cancel order as they were nothing but scammers. A few hours later, I get an email for cancelled order. Scammers, people.... Just placed an order with premiumspores.com. To the ones who post positive reviews, I call you out on your BS stories. 15 year grower here.

I ordered their 4x concentration of 4 random. When I received the syringes I looked into the spore solution with a led light and nothing but clear fluid. When I contacted them they told me they were microscopic and you couldn't see them without a scope so I looked on a scope 80x - 800x and guess what they are also invisible! After I explained my findings they said we stand by our products so I emailed them the digital shots of someone else spores and their so called 4x concentration and they deleted my account. No spores at all! Not one! So I created this account just to warn everyone!

SPORES ARE NOT VIABLE

I have tried 5 different syringes from them including one they sent after I complained and there has been now growth on clean agar plates.

This site is a scam, but if you don’t believe me please use your credit card not bitcoin. You cannot charge back a bitcoin purchase.

They did answer my emails but they do not stand by there 100 percent viable and clean guarantee.

I am positive the good reviews on this site are fake. Please avoid this business at all cost.

Neutral for now I will update if it goes to positive or negative. I was sold on free shipping and spore store goes and charges me for shipping still. wow Your free shipping is in your about us statement. It's on every page you pull up when you order syringes so I Believe that's false advertisement on that part. Please don't get me wrong I don't Mind paying for shipping But don't tell me It's raining and I'm actually standing under a bridge and someones above me taking a #1. Order Sunday and still am waiting On any form of acknowledgement from the company. I never received a Confirmation Email of my order, I never received anything To acknowledge I made a purchase. But money was out right away. I signed up for the newsletter and I signed up for a login and instantly I got a response email. That's why I'm a little concerned Because when I purchased a Product online or anywhere You always get order confirmation acknowledgement or some type of something

Ordered spores on a on Monday 3/7/16 My order has not left it says processing They claim shipments leave with in 24-48 hours after ordered not in my case its been 6 days now I have emailed them no response what so ever and after looking at other spore stains I noticed the same Picture of mushroom On two completely different Strains of mushroom (Burma and Puerto Rican first Pictures) which is alarming cause now it looks like a scam this guy offers really bad service the payment has gone through and I still don't have my stuff Honestly this needs to end and he needs to be called out because if he is not he will keep doing this i've never had such a bad experience about this and to be honest all the five star reviews you see are real but..... when I left my Poor Rating a message was left saying it was to be reviewed meaning he will not post one negative rating to protect his rep.... any else feel me ?

Spore store has my business placed my order 2/1/15 and had the by 2/6/15 they came packed with spores and have all started to colonize nicely 8 days after inoculation I saw the mycelium start to spread quickly.
The only bad thing I have to say about them is contacting them is kinda hard but there products are a+

My experience with the Spore Store has been more than pleasant. Every syringe I have purchased from them has been 100% viable. Looking at the contents under a microscope I was surprised at how many spores were in the solution, almost 3x the amount as other companies I have purchased from. I have emailed them on several occasions and I get feedback in a day or so. By far the fastest shipping and cheapest company I have dealt with. I see many negative reviews about the spore store, and any one I have read has never occurred in my experience with them. I highly recommend this company to anyone that wants quality product at a unbeatable price.

This is the worst source for spores that I have ever utilized. Every single spore syringe was contaminated, and was a complete waste of time and money. The growing jars and media were also a complete waste.. I am writing this to warn other consumers to avoid this place.. I am very experienced and this place provided the worst products ever... Nothing grew, and everything was contaminated. Complete and total rip off!

I ordered the growing system and jars on February, 2015. I opened the first package that arrived weeks later to find my aquarium and lid cracked. I sent an email explaining what happened and it took 2 weeks for a reply. I was excited to finally get a response saying they were sending me another tank. The second tank arrives and this time the lid is fine but the corner of the tank is cracked along with a large crack where the heater is placed through the side of the tank. I have left multiple voicemails and sent several emails in the last 3 months with no response.

I made a order on Monday and got one PES Hawaiian x4 Supercharged strain and on the website it said my order was processed but they didn't send me a tracking # after reading a lot of negative reviews online about Sporestore.com I was kinda pissed that I made my order. Since I didn't get a tracking number I sent them a Email and complained, they sent me one back today Friday saying they just sent the package and finally gave me a tracking # Thank god. I'm kinda pissed tho because I ordered it Monday it should have came to me in the mail by now if they sent it when I bought it because its already Friday. I hope the spores from there work. So I'm guessing its going come in the mail next week sometime. I already made another spore order from Thehawkseye because I have already bought spores from them a long time ago so I know there legit. But I wanted to try a different website because I saw that they were cheaper on Sporestore.com once I get my order I will probably never make another order with Sporestore.com again just because all the bad reviews and the bad experience I'm having with them. Super slow service and I don't think they would have sent me my package if I didn't Email them. They seam to forget about people that buy from them. I suggest you don't buy from Sporestore.com as far as I know they scam people and they take forever to send your order if they do end up sending it.

I'm not sure where to start. Purchased 5 syringes, which showed up on time. The tracking number I was given didn't work - but being intelligent I read the DIRECTIONS that came with it stating it may not be active right away. Sure enough a day and a half later the number worked flawlessly. Inoculated 5 jars 5 days ago and already have activity in 3. People who don't know what they're doing or talking about should not be allowed to post. You cannot see spores in a syringe because they're microscopic, occasionally you may find small black dots where they've clumped together. So, don't pay attention to all the negative reviews left by idiots who can't follow directions or keep from contaminating their own projects and choose to blame others. Just my opinion, I will likely shop here again.

I'm a total noob and bought my first syringes from these guys. Got what I paid for and then some. Got the 4 pack special and did 36 jars... Now, I did lose some to contamination:/ Used the oven method that was recommended by my grow kit;/( I did say noob ) However, I only lost 8 and the other 28 produced great results. I have no doubt that what I lost was my fault so I am completely happy with my purchase! Will order again and update if I have issues... Just read all this and felt like I should share my experience!

BEWARE "SPORESTORE" WEBSITE IS A COMPLETE SCAM !!!!! *PLEASE READ*
My husband is a Mycology extremist so for his 37th birthday I decided to invest in his passion and ordered him a good amount of spore syringes and waited the time stated on the website (3-5 days standard shipping) and nothing came in but the next day the money had already been taken out of my bank account not only that but the tracking number given to my via spore store was bogus.I even called and emailed and no response was given.


THIS WEBSITE IS A TOTAL RIP OFF/ROBBERY!!

I ordered 12 pre-sterilised substrate jars from sporestore.com on January 10th. I have been checking the order status every day and it only says 'Processed'. I have sent them SEVERAL emails asking for an update and response on my order, and they haven't messaged me once. I wish I would have seen these reviews before I spent so much money with them. ALSO, my receipt that I got from their automated email address said that my 12 jars should have been FREE SHIPPING, but I paid $5 for shipping.


Also, UniversityScientific.com is owned by this same company, it says so on this website and I notice that both of the company's address' are from Michigan. I ordered a MycoGarden from UniversityScientific for about $150 including shipping. They are ignoring my emails as well. I am so pissed and as soon as the bank opens tomorrow I am going to file for a chargeback.

I bought two syringes with the 4x super charge "rip off". signed up for the news letter to get free discount codes which didnt work i emailed him when it didnt show on my reciept and he said "thats for another product" but it spicificaly said 10% on next purchase. so I got it two days later did alot of work and sterilizing and spent alot of money on a pc, and lysol, (can you tell im a first time grower). the liquid in the syringe was clear and had wierd spores (note i knew the water had to be tinted after spore and the liquid are stired but i ignored that sign and did everything to the T my first jar i did the needle did not reach into the substarte but instead the liquid went into the try verm, that was my fault but nothing happened no mold or anything for about two week so atleast my sterilizing worked, this time 2 jars made sure the needle went in and bam 4 days later a white mold and then lipstick mold. tried again this time 4 jars "money fliying out the window" but this time i did more research and found out they are a scam so after four days of the jars sitting i just pc them again and am now waiting on ryche's to get here to save my sinking sorry ass.

I even told Ryche about it not as a sob story but because i feel let down and hurt cuz i worked very hard and i wanted his word, he gave me his word and i bought that same day and he even took the time to fill out my order ON A SUNDAY!!! sporestore does not..

All in all I put in a large order and spent over $100 at sporestore.com. The first batch may have been my fault being contaminated although I was as sterile as possible in my environment. Next batch I ordered the syringes were faulty so they sent me replacements after trying to get a hold of them for a week and a half. Voila, healthy mycelium growth and when it came time to fruit I got mushrooms!!! Exciting right? Except they were a different strain than what I ordered and not any strain they have on their website. I still have not heard back from them about it and I've wasted too much time, patience and money using sporestore.com. I wish I'd seen these reviews before I wasted the last 5 months of my hobby on their spores. I HIGHLY do not recommend!

So I order 6 spore syringes from this place.
I get my order, I did pay with plastic not cash...
What I got was weird, they had white stuff in them, rather than black spores... hmm so I gave 2 of them a try, and ohh my I never saw purple mold before.... hmmm, defiantly worthless, no sense in trying the others for sure, but I thougt, it's ok they "gurantee them to work", so I figure a quick email and I send the rest of the unused back and I get my money back, NEGATIVE! Guarantee to rip your stupid butt off for fooling with them, GOTO A REAL VENDOR LIKE RALPHSTERS, that man is HONEST and DOES WHAT HE SAYS! Now I have sent other emails, but they ignore them, they already told me "hey buddy we ripped you off, but of you are stupid enough come back and it will be 15% cheaper to get ripped off a second time".

Nice thing about paying with a card is when they do this, you just print out the email and fax it to your bank and file for a charge back at this point you have been sold a product with a guarantee that they just defrauded you on, and before you know it you will get it back. Another funny thing, the merchants bank will charge them a fee for having to deal with the dispute which is $15 or higher, and if they get alot of them, their credit card processing rates go up and if it continues they wind up loosing the ability to accept cards all together and are put on a "match list" which prevents them from EVER being able to create another credit card merchant account under their name/id again.
If you have been ripped off, call your bank on the back of your credit card and file a dispute against them!

Had a great experience. Communication was good and my e-mails were responded to in a timely manner. Package arrived complete and on time. I will be using sporestore.com plenty more in the future for sure!!

I don't know what this people are dissing the spore store after I read the reviews I was pissed after about 14 days I got my package and thought it was gonna be beat but out of the four I got they seem to be working and its only day eight so I would order again if any problems I will post again

I placed an order with spore store 3 weeks ago. I sent them multiple emails inquiring about my order. but got no reply, last night in frustration I sent another email saying that I contacted the attorney general about tracking them down. And that I would go there and beat them down..... Just this morning I got an emai FROM spore store, with a USPS tracking and confermation number. the threat tactic worked, but now I have to worry about whether or not my spores are poisoined or theres a bomb in box :/.

Received syringes promptly enough, too bad all they contained was tap water. Waste of time and money.

Just wanted to offset the overwhelming bad reviews against Spore Store, for the record.

Of the 2 sets of 2 syringes I ordered, 3 out of 4 seem viable - it's day 5 in my incubation.

Besides that, I got my order quickly. I do NOT recommend buying their pre-sterilized jars. I made my own jars a week later and they are performing better even though they're playing catchup.

Stay away From The "Sporestore.com" Look @ all these negative comments! I wish I would have read them prior to placing an order with them! I purchased 10 spore syringes @ a price of $50, which seemed like a great deal. But what seems to good to be true usually is. I got them right away, but if there were any spores in them at all they were too old to grow. This company is a scam artist and if I can pursuade just one person not to buy from them with this post it was worth the time! But don't take just my word for it, read all these other comments, like I said before I wish I had done a little research on them myself before forking over my money.

SCAM. I ordered from them for a friend and they didn't receive anything. I attempted to contact them after 2 weeks of not receiving anything for a tracking number, and nothing. Never ended up getting anything, and like the rest of you I tried to get some sort of refund, but failed to reach anyone. How can I get this website in trouble? Similar to someone else, hawkseye has been great. This place makes you think your getting a good deal but like they say, if it seems too good to be true it is.

I ordered from sporebank.com got the 2 for 1 deal. When my package came, which was not a problem it was delivered on time with no issues, I noticed what appeared to be little pieces of dust in water in one of the syringes very very tiny black spots maybe 10 which I could only see cause I have good vision and the other was literally just water no lie. I looked up other reviews and found out it was a scam. Although my package came it was useless i did not need any water. I realized the email address they gave was fake I looked further into the website (sporebank.com) and found this email sales@irie.tc I emailed them a nice message thanking them for the water and to my surprise they emailed me back which I didn't think would happen since most reviews say they don't respond to emails. My email was nice i just thanked them for the water and wished them good karma and they responded asking if there was a problem with my order and to please let them know. But this is what confused me for a second they ended the email with rodger @sporestore.com which is not the website i ordered from i thought i made a mistake when searching for a good email but I didn't. If you go to sporebank.com the email address they have will allow you to contact both stores so obviously these scammers run multiple fraud websites they didn't even know which one i was from. So pretty much Don't order syringes from any website that isn't a shroomery sponsor or you'll loose your money.

i wish i had sought reviews for this 'company' prior to my order as well. sent money order and never received anything not even a response to several emails.

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST!! Absolutely 100% scam. Most of what was in the syringe was unidentifiable and the few spores I could identify were so old and degraded that they were useless and like everyone else I have received no response to emails.
