Comments regarding Diane's Flower Seeds

I placed my order today; and realized upon receiving my receipt (and notice that it would ship tomorrow morning) that I had forgotten to order one type of seed. I emailed Diane asking if there was any way to place the order without incuring another $2.95 shipping charge (which is very reasonable, I just didn't want to pay it again!). She immediately responded to place the order and she would refund the charge. Within 5 minutes of placing the order (no exaggeration) she had refunded the shipping charge and sent me email to let me know that she had done so. I haven't even received my order yet and I'm already impressed at how Diane went above and beyond to make sure I was happy.

Germination was above average.

I wish I had known about Diane's Seeds long before. She has a wonderful selection and the seeds are well packed and labeled. I will continue to order from Diane. I highly recommend her.

I ordered my seeds on Sunday, and got my confirmation e-mail by Sunday night. The seeds were shipped, as promised, on Monday, and an e-mail was sent that they had shipped. Very good-looking and well-packaged seeds arrived on Friday. There are a lot of seeds for the price, and the shipping charge is the lowest I've found. I was very pleased with the prompt service, and will order again!

Good value; high germination rate--and the website is easy to navigate and very informative.

First let me say that the Garden Watchdog has completely changed the way I order seeds and plants. No more Parks (how many years can they be out of pink achimenes no matter how early I order? Stop listing them if you never plan to stock them!) or Wayside or Whiteflower. No more overpriced puny plants, long shipping delays and high shipping prices. I order from companies with good feed back and wow, has it made a wonderful difference.

I ordered 10 pkts of seed from Diane's on March 13 and received them on March 19. I like the reusable plastic envelopes and she supplies more seed per packet than any of the big companies such as the aforementioned and sucky Parks as well as Burpee and T&M. Plus I got a generous amount of free Ensign convovulous. Selecting and ordering on the site was a breeze.

I wonder how long, if ever, it will take the catalog senders to realize that there is such a thing as the Internet and that it allows people to communicate and share their purchasing experience.

Ordering and payment process was convenient and smooth. Order confirmation was emailed to me right away. The seeds I ordered arrived very fast, neatly packed with clear instructions. Excellent service, thank you Diane!

I ordered 11 packets of flower seeds on 01/18/2009. The seeds arrived very quickly. The packages were well marked and had planting instructions on them. She also sent me a free package of seed....which was on my want list! The shipping was resonable. All of the seeds are starting to grow! I will buy from her again! Thank-you!

I found Diane's Seeds through my local Humane Society web page. I love the fact that I am getting great seeds and knowing that a portion of the proceeds will go to my local Humane Society. You can check out your local Humane Society's web page to see if they offer it. Very fast shipping and reasonable rates. I will be puchasing all my seeds from them in future.

Really interesting selection of seeds, and pictures and descriptions were most enticing! I ordered quite a few "new to me" items and the seed that didn't need chilling is sprouting well after only a few days. Buying seed from a company like this makes starting your own plants really satisfying.

Discovered the website last year through Dave's website and ordered a variety of seeds. Prices are great, selection is good, S&H charges were very reasonable compared with other companies and order arrived within a few days. All germinated very well except for one pkt. of lupine so I contacted Diane. She was able to track the variety and reported no problem in germination tests. Within a few days my lupine seedlings all appeared so clearly my conditions were at fault. She was quick to respond to my e-mails and very helpful. As an experienced seed starter and gardener I appreciate a source for unusual varieities and customer friendly service at affordable prices. This is it!

I ordered from Diane Jan 20th 09, Within the hour I had an e-mail telling me my order would be sent out the next day. I received them today. She also sent a free packet of seeds. She is very fast and very friendly. I am looking forward to doing business with her in the future.

With these glowing ratings, I'm not sure Diane's Flower Seeds needs yet another great review -- but here it is. I discovered the company this year through Garden Watchdog, and decided to place a small order. I quite enjoyed using their website. The selection of flowers and heirloom tomatoes is superb. A detailed page on each variety contains a great photo, all the descriptive information you'd expect, and sometimes a rare and welcome subjective comment (as when the taste of certain tomatoes falls short despite their good looks -- we all know it happens!).

The service I received was flawless. Within hours of placing my on-line order, I received an e-mail confirmation from Diane. I received the seeds in well under a week! Seeds come in small re-sealable plastic packets, and the labels clearly indicate varieties that need special treatment, such as chilling, chipping, and/or soaking.

Will definitely order from Diane's Garden Seeds again!

I have ordered from Diane's Seeds on several occasions. Her seed is always of the highest quality and the germination rates have been excellent. I have ordered both flowers and vegetables. It is always nice to be able to support small businesses such as Diane Seeds in a world where the large seed companies dominate. I also appreciate the fact that she accepts Pay Pal for payment. The less places I need to give my credit card number the better.

This is my first order and I'm very pleased. I received my order in three days...during the Christmas holidays! I was given an extra pack of seeds with my order. Very wonderful experience thus far...

Diane's Flower Seeds has a great selection of some difficult to find seeds. Fantastic prices on both seeds and shipping. Seeds arrived extremely quickly and included a lovely freebie.

Purchased 4 packs of seeds last spring; all germinated and the flowers were beautiful. Just purchased 3 more packs of seeds for Spring 2009. Buying from this seller is a pain-free experience, and her internet site is full of information to help any gardner.

Great selection, great prices and super fast delivery. And she doesn't charge outrageous prices for delivery. Diane always sends something extra with your order which is a nice surprise. This issue has been resolved. The customer's seeds had been lost in the mail, and he was trying to contact me via an obsolete e-mail address. Thanks to the Garden Watchdog, I was alerted to the problem, and I was able to contact the customer and get things straightened out. Steps have been taken to prevent this problem from happening again."

Fast efficient service. I ordered scarlet runner beans and morning glory seeds.

I ordered through this vendor and this spring and was happy with the serivce. Seeds arrived timely and has started to come up. Would feel comfortable ordering through them in the future.

Diane's seeds arrived in just a couple of days to my address in europe. Great packaging in ziplock bags with clear and easy to follow germination instructions. They were thoughtful enough to include a free species! Upon a successful germination of my seeds, I'm sure I will do business with them again.

I had a very good experience with this vendor. I placed my order Friday morning and the seeds were there waiting Monday evening and there was a bonus pack to boot. Got good germination on most of them!!

I ordered from Diane's Flower Seeds because I was encouraged by all of the positive feedback the company had gotten on Garden Watchdog.

My seeds (mostly cosmos and zinnias) arrived promptly and clearly labeled. I was also pleased to get a little package of freebies. It made me feel as though extra care was taken to make sure I was happy.

I ordered quite a few perrenial variety seeds from Dianes' and they arrived promptly and also included some free bonus seeds, a nice touch. When I had problems with getting my agastache varieties to germinate Diane quickly responded with detailed information to help me, her advice worked, 16 of 18 plants germinated following her instructions. I will defintely purchase seeds from her again, highly recommended!
