Yardiac promised to "contact me" with shipping details before processing my order. I received no contact, they went ahead with the order and made unauthorized charges against my credit card. The shipping was a rip off and the product was low quality.

There are many other places to purchase the same products for a better price from an honest company. Yardiac is "bad people."

I ordered a cast address plaque. The order arrived promptly, but defective. I immediatley called Yardiac.com and spoke to their representative. She asked that I send a picture of the defect and she would submit it to their manufacturer. With all that done, I recieved a new plaque ASAP. They kept me well informed on what was going on and was very pleased with the ease of the transaction. I love my plaque and hope to do more business with them in the future.

We ordered a water feature from the UK by phone, to be delivered as a birthday gift to a friend in Colorado. The product range far outstripped any UK garden supllier. The ordering process was fine with help from the staff. The delivery was within a reasonable time, far better and cheaper than shipping from the UK. Unfortunately the item was delivered damaged in transit. Yardiacs took a replacement order but for a different item (our choice was back-order only due to stock shortage) at a greater cost. That was delivered ok. The only problem was that our credit card was billed in error and without prior approval. I am sure this was a clerical error based on the original transaction. The matter was resolved after a couple of e-mails. We were satisfied with the service from yardiac and would recommend them to friends here.

Yardiac, thanks so much for all of the reply. I was about to give up on finding a cover at a reasonable cost. I placed my order with Yardiac, and it arrived within two days and I am very happy to do business with you now and in future.

Thank you Yardiac for your quick and kind response to the situation with our order. We ran a retail business for 35 years and always treated our customers in this same friendly manner. It works! I will shop here again and will tell others about my experience.

I ordered Ironite at 18.95 a bottle.
They shipped a Bonide product and charged the same price.

I found the product they shipped else where at 8.00 a bottle.
I shipped them back the Ironite the next day with the label they provided, and after a month it has not been credited to my C card.
E mails go unanswered.
The place is a rip-off joint, stay away, stay far-far away from them.

PS--I found Ironite at at Ace hardware for six dollars a bottle less.

I see no reason I wouldn't order from them again.

Bought a seedling heat mat from them online. Honestly, the only reason I bought from them is because they had a *very* low price on the same product I almost bought from gardeners.com (I love them, but I've found that they're very pricey if you can find the same brand elsewhere). After shoping around online and checking out reviews of yardiac.com which were mostly reasonably positive (reviews were not from this website), I purchased the item and crossed my fingers since I had never done business with them before. The heat mat was delivered promptly with no problems, exactly as described and depicted. I ended up paying almost 50% less than I would have payed if I would have not shopped around and gone with my old standby of gardeners.com. When I'm in the market for other items they carry, I'll definitely try them again as their prices are hard to beat and so far, so good.

Oct, 2005 I ordered a "pop-up" Flowerhaus greenhouse (model: Farmhouse) from http://www.Yardiac.com. End of season sale, $299.95, free S&H. Fine. Wth winter approaching, no intention to put it up till spring for hardening-off seedlings. (I mean it's a "pop up" not a permanent, solid structure greenhouse.)

Feb. 2006 we haul the thing out of the box only to find that it's the wrong model. Much smaller. Original invoice, however, had correct model number. Why should I assume wrong thing was in the box? It's huge. Wrapped in a zippered bag. Never noticed different number on box, which we stored away - out of sight - soon after receiving it. Only way to have known it was wrong would have been to unpack, unzip, unfold yards and yards of polyweave and halfway through putting it up, only then, I'd notice.

Contacted YARDIAC. They sent correct model and took back the wrong one. Again. Fine.

Finally set up the correct one (Farmhaus). But the thing doesn't close. It's a zippered door and the manufacturer didn't allow enough slack poly-weave material on either side of door for closure of zipper when the thing is fully erected. (Oh, and 25 years gardening experience and having poly houses before, I know how to put these things together.) With all the effort I (and my 220lb husband) could muster, we couldn't get the darn zipper door closed without risking ripping it away from the poly weave. (I could see it beginning to tear.) Nearly reinjured my compromised rotater cuff by pulling on the thing.

Called YARDIAC. Told them the problem. Customer rep contacted manufacturer, http://www. Flowerhaus.com in Michigan. Flowerhaus ADMITTED the product was flawed and that they were "already in the process of correcting and improving the model for sale in Fall 2006". (Not going to help me much!) YARDIAC rep even said they (Yardiac) "knew little or nothing about this product". So, based on mfrs.' admission of flaw and their intent to improve plus YARDIAC'S admission of not knowing anything about this product they're selling, I felt justified in asking they assume return S&H charges. I even offered to kick in for return insurance.

After having to call them back three more times, I was finally informed neither they nor mfr. would pick up cost. But, YARDIAC would give me 15% off the original cost. Sorry. But 15% off something I can't use because it doesn't function properly, is 15% off nothing IMO. So, now my seedling flats are spilling out of my house w/no place to harden off and grow on, and I'm in the hole $125+ for UPSing the thing back (it's 75lbs and oversized box) and having to insure it so it doesn't get "damaged". (Wouldn't that be redundant?) Oh, and they said because I ordered it back in Oct. that negated any possible return policy procedure. (Whatever that is.) Even though I realize it was my responsibility to discern I'd received the correct model at the time of receipt, I figured seeing a correct invoice attached to the thing was discernment enough on my part. I think on that point, they could have cut me a little slack since they shipped the wrong one in the first place.

Bottom line, don't order anything from Yardiac unless they can assure you they're 100% familiar w/the product and ask if they've ever received any negative comments on the product. (Good luck with that.) Oh, and don't buy a Flowerhaus. It's a "pop-up flop-up". But if you do, Google other sites (I found it $50 cheaper elsewhere afterward) make sure you compare invoice & box numbers and even THEN...take it out of the box, put it halfway together regardless of whether it's blowing and snowing outside...just to make sure.

Now I'll see how well YARDIAC handles refunds.

E-mail confirmation of my order said order would be shipped in 24-48 hours. Credit card was charged immediately. Repeated calls to the company to try to find out status of order got several different excuses. The order was finally shipped 2 weeks later than they promised, too late for a Christmas gift. I would never order anything from this company again.

Ordered several items from Yardiac. All showed to be in stock on their website and they charged my credit card immediately. A week passed and they had not shipped and my order status did not change on their website. I called and cancelled my order and was told my credit card charge would be reversed. After receiving my credit card bill I noticed their charge was not reversed. Needless to say, I disputed the charge with my credit card company. I forwarded the email Yardiac sent me (indicating my credit card charge would be reversed) to my credit card company who informed me that Yardiac maintained the email was faked. Two months later, Yardiac still has not credited my credit card and I am forced to get my credit card company to request shipping proof from Yardiac. Yardiac.com is nothing but ripoff artists!!!
