Received an order today. Big starts with big root systems that are packed very well. I received exactly what I ordered. Great communication from the company. Thorough instructions sent with the order too. I will buy again.

I have order many plants from Santa Rosa Gardens. i have been totally satisfied. Last year, I ordered 3 flowers and this year they never came up. I did not think to much about it. This year I ordered them again and stated my situation. I did not expect anything, BUT the checked their records, saw that I had ordered them and gave me the ones I ordered for free.
I WILL SING SANTA ROSA GARDENS PRAISES TO EVERYONE!

I just want to tell you that I have ordered flowers 3 times this spring from you and I am absolutely delighted at the condition and packaging that they arrived in. The ones that I ordered earlier are doing well, although I think I may have to wait until next year to see blooms! I just received 12 plants today and they look wonderful as well. I hope that I will be able to see some blooms this season, but may have to wait until next year! I also like the fact that you show how many plants that you have in stock.

WOW! I will write details when more time, but couldn't wait to urge any plant lover to give SRG a try. The plants are lovely and an amazing value. I almost didn't order because I thought the deals were too good to be true.

I urge anyone and everyone to place your order before the "secret" is out. If all plant sellers were like these folks, there would be prettier gardens and probably more gardeners.

This was the first time I bought from Santa Rosa. What a happy surprise I had when my plants arrived just four days after placing my order and in superb condition. The ten plants were all larger than I expected for four inch pots and of high quality. The packing was also a big surprise; it was clear they were each packed with individual care. I am extremely happy with my first order from Santa Rosa and will absolutely order again. This is very high value for the cost. I highly recommend them.

I ordered 24 4-inch pots of ajuga and very promptly got an e-mail advising me that they were out of the 4-inch size and offering me 48 well-established plugs for the same price. (As an alternative, I could wait 3 weeks for the larger plants.) I opted for the plugs and they arrived (with another perennial I had also ordered) very promptly.

I have dealt with many mail-order nurseries that wrap plants well, but I must say these were the best-wrapped I'd ever seen! Instructions for unpacking were prominently featured on the outside of the box. All of the plants were beautiful and healthy.

I'll be back to Santa Rosa Gardens!

I'm really impressed with SRG. I sent them an e-mail in the morning to let them know about the plants that did not make it over the winter. O.K , to my great surprise they responded in a timely fashion and informed me that they will replace the plants, and they also added an extra one for free.
What a great company to do business with. WOW!!!!

I ordered 3 helleborus from Santa Rosa. This was my 1st experience with this company. I am very happy with the size of 2 of the helleborus, but I will say the blue lady helleborus could be a little bigger. It is actually quite small. Considering the cost of the helleborus, I am still happy with my purchase and I am sure I will be ordering more in the future.

Santa Rosa Gardens delivered a very positive customer experience from order to delivery. Plants arrived with no issues and were ready for planting into the landscape. All plants are growing well and I am looking forward to future orders with this company. They have a very wide variety of perennial flowers and grasses. Thanks for your customer dedication.

This was my first order with Santa Rosa Gardens and it was a perfect business transaction.

Received confirmation email when order was placed and when order was shipped & I was able to track my order.

Received my order yesterday (Wednesday 4/27/11) I was as always working in my yard when Fed X drove up.

I planted my beautiful plants immediately, they were all in great condition, very healthy/budding all were in the ground within thirty minutes of arrival.

I have been a customer of Santa Rosa Gardens for several years. I find that they have high quality products, efficient delivery timeframes, and helpful employees. I recommend Santa Rosa to all of my gardening friends.

Made several purchases from Santa Rosa and all were outstanding for communication, speed of shipment, top-notch packaging, and quality of plants. Planning on making at least three more purchases in the next three months (gonna give them my monthly plant "allowance" LOL).

I ordered 14 Purple Coneflowers on a Tuesday and they were delivered on Thursday afternoon. They were in excellent condition and were strong, healthy plants. Price was great also, better than others that I checked on. I will definitely order from them again. A+

These have to be the best mail order plants I have ever received. Large, Healthy, and the packaging is the best. Will not ever hesitate to order from this company. Customer Service is A+

I was astonished to find small plugs removed from their containers and shipped with soil and roots showing. After my first email request, I was told that sometimes Santa Rosa will ship these small sprigs on a two for one basis rather than the usual 4 inch pot advertised on their website. My second conversation confirmed this practice was done without informing or giving a choice to the customer. To Santa Rosa's credit, after my second complaint, they offered to send me mature plants when they became available. The only way to prevent this from occuring again is to mark on each customer order "no two for one substitutions".

I will certainly look into this. It is not our intention to ever ship plants bareroot, without pots. If soil and roots were showing, those plants were not shipped per our routine. The sales person was correct that there are times when we ship 2 or 3 smaller pots in place of the larger pot in order to fill a customer's order according to their planting schedule. Those are very rare instances and we always offer our 100% replacement/refund guarantee on all of our plants. Many gardeners have planting schedules and if 1 crop out of many is not ready yet, we want to give the gardener the best solution available. In that case, holding the entire order for 1 plant is not the best option. I hope that you will give those smaller plants a chance. We would also be happy to ship the larger pot as it becomes available. I believe that sales also offered you a full refund on those plants as well. I hope we have resolved this to your satisfaction. Just received orders from Santa Rosa Gardens and again marveled at how well all the plants were packed, how fresh they looked and how quickly they arrived. I love the variety of their plants and how large all the potted plants are when they are sent out. The customer service team is also very good in communicating and I appreciate their input and confirmation messages. Their excellent level of service and merchandise is why I keep coming back. And they also offer great prices, specials and deals.

I ordered 20 plants from Santa Rosa Gardens on a Friday and they showed up quickly the next week. They were in excellent condition, slightly moist,very good root ball and a healthy color. I would order from them in half a heart beat again.

Excellent packing, quick to ship and beautiful, healthy plants. Would purchase again.

I recently ordered some Autumn Moor Grass from Santa Rosa. They were packaged well and still moist . They have an outstanding selection of grasses. The plants arrive a very nice size, ready for planting.

I have placed several orders with Santa Rosa Gardens over the past year or so when I found them at Dave's Garden. I look forward to receiving their emails. I recently ordered two Maple leaf Hibiscus from them. I think due to them being closeouts for the season I received four. Yay! They are all thriving in my garage right now waiting for spring planting. Santa Rosa ships quickly and I mean within a couple to few days, the plants arrive in great condition. Santa Rosa has become my favorite mail order vendor. Very healthy and good quality plants.

I just placed my second, and much larger order, with this company. My last order, back in the fall, was sent very quickly, the plants were large and VERY healthy!! Everything is still growing well for me. My next order will come in April and I know I will be receiving beautiful, healthy plants once again! The communication with the company is superb, they offer fantastic deals - join their mailing list! Their website if extremely well built, easy to find and locate just what you're looking for, and the flowers are just as pretty when you get them as they are on their website pics! Thanks so much! Excellent, excellent experience. I ordered 6 Japanese Silver grass and 9 Panicum Northwind. The Japanese Silver grass specimens were much larger than I expected, and both types had extensive healthy roots. I ordered during the absolute hottest months of the summer but they included cold packs and the plants were all beautiful upon arrival and are actively growing now. I've ordered alot of plants through the mail in the past and have given up on all but a few companies for a variety of reasons. However, I plan to create a large ornamental grass garden at our new property, and this company will be hearing from me again and again next year once we move.

I have been purchasing plants and supplies, both on sale and not on sale for a very long time. There has never been any problem s that can't be resolved. All transactions have always been dealt with by courteous individuals and never dropped or forgotten. Everyone that I have ever spoken to was unbelievably helpful and friendly. Orders are shipped out so quickly that it sometimes seems impossible. Everything is carefully packed and they all arrive safely despite the weather. All plants have been healthy and grew quickly. Even in the rare situation that a plant I have ordered is no longer available there has always been ways to remedy the situation. In a nutshell, this is a company that aims to please, and they do.

Nov 2010 purchase was handled very professionally, at excellent discount as offered, with cordial, informative emails from company, and lightspeed shipping.
Have dealt often with this marvelous company and its wonderful staff because the plants arrive in perfect, sturdy condition and seem healthier and longer lived than any retail, wholesale or mail order supplier.

I had placed an order at the end of September and within a few days of my chosen ship date, I received a box of beautiful, healthy plants, complete with great instructions on how to care for my new plants. I was very impressed with the ease of the ordering process, how quickly the plants were shipped, and the follow up emails from the company with info on how to track my package.

I ordered some sheep shears from this company about 5 years ago. As a result, they kept sending me e-mails about their plants. I finally decided to give them a try and ordered 16 verbena and some bulbs. The plants arrived nicely packed & vibrant. I was impressed and placed another order within a week. A week after planting the verbena, we had a searing heat wave. 4 of the verbena were negatively impacted and are not doing so well.

I e-mailed them to see what they recommended. They offered to replace the 4, even though I did not ask for that.

The second order I received, planted, and are all doing great.

This is an excellent company in my opinion and I will continue doing business with them.

This was my first order with Santa Rosa. I ordered about 15 plants that were on sale just as a test and I received a beautiful box of healthy plants! They were packaged very well and wrapped in netting. I am going to order from Santa Rosa again.

I am very happy with the orders I have received from Santa Rosa Gardens. I first heard about them last year on a gardening forum, and I got in on their late summer sale. I admit that I was hesitant to order plants from a company based in Florida, since I live in zone 4 in upstate NY. The prices were great, so I ordered several grasses and carexes that I hadn't tried before, plus a few perennial plants. I ordered several things this week in this year's similar sale. In both shipments, the plants were a nice size and in great shape. Last year's plants did fine here, despite moving several zones north. (Of course I only ordered plants rated for z4 and z5.) And no plastic peanuts were harmed in the wrapping of their plants. I also appreciate that their policy is not to ship late in the week, so that plants don't languish in a truck or warehouse somewhere over the weekend.

I cannot speak too highly of Santa Rosa Gardens. Their products come in a timely manner; they are bright and alive and take off within a day or two of being planted! And Darlene was a real peach when I needed to revise my on-line order. I am done buying dead-on-arrival plants!

I just received my first order from SRG, 5 types of plants to try them out. It won't be my last. The plants were so inexpensive I hadn't expected much more than rooted cuttings. What I got were well rooted plants. They are now potted up and actively growing. The packaging did a very good job of protecting the foliage of each plant. I like buying from Florida nurseries since plants started in our humid, hot climates seem to survive better than the same varieties started in more arid western climates. I'll be placing a bigger order with them for spring.

Over the past two weeks, I have ordered an absurd amount of plants from Santa Rosa Gardens... All of them were sent in excellent packaging and the plants are looking great!

I recommend this company to anyone looking to buy plants online. Their prices and selection are fantastic!

The ornamental grasses I ordered (on sale too) were beautiful plants. Much nicer than the over-priced "bare root" ones that Michigan Bulb sells.

The packaging was superb. All plants were potted and wrapped both in a mesh scovering to protect the plant and then wrapped in brown paper. All were placed neatly in the box so as not to do any damage.

Their customer service department is very nice and helpful also. I plan to order all of my plants through them.

I've ordered from them 5-6 times over the last 18 months. All items have arrived on time as promised, in excellent condition and are usually larger than I expect. The time or 2 I've had an issue with an order,(incorrect or missing item) they've made a correction immediately and with no fuss. They have a great variety, especially grasses, tho I'm a perennial nut! I can't recommend them more highly.
