I ordered quite alot (300+) of bulbs for fall planting. Received prompt confirmation. Received the bulbs a few weeks later than planned shipping date(a couple of items were back ordered). All the bulbs were very healthy looking, and you certainly can't beat the prices! Although it was getting late in the season for fall planting, I got everything in the ground and am looking forward to a beautiful spring showing. Would not hesitate to order from again.

Prices are low, but quality is very good and quantity is generous. Bonuses are wonderful, too!

I ordered daylilies and peruvian daffodils from this company after reading the positive comments in the Garden Watchdog.
This was a very pleasant experience,a NO stress deal. The website is user friendly and so are the people! I received a quick email response and very fast order fill. They kept me updated on my order and even a tracking number.
The plants arrived in good health, packaged nicely.
Very pleased with Touch of Nature, Inc. and will use them again!

Touch of Nature is the last site I ordered and the fastest one. My order came in less than 1 week thru FedEx! I'm so impressed. Others order that I made from other places over a month ago hasn't send me anything at all. I'm getting discouraged & frustrated.

I ordered 15 daylillies (3 varieties)they have that are on sale. The prices are great. These will be my first daylillies I have. The package came yesterday, nicely packed. The two varieties (the cream & lavender) are nicely sprouting and well rooted. But the last one (the pink one 'Caleb Bingham')are almost dried out, the roots are small, brittle & hollow. I'm worried that one's not going to make it. I've planted them all well & hoping they're all going to grow this year.

I purchased some dahila tubers from Touch of Nature which were not up to my expections. I contacted the company and they not only replaced them but sent a few extras.The new tubers were in excellent condition.

A couple of months ago, I was going to order a few special plants, but Bert kindly told me that it was a bad season for them. But as we chatted, (email), I thought I might like some Hen's and Chicks - He offered me a great price if I took 40 of them, I said ok and that was that. I had even forgot about the order, I never received a bill til today when the huge box arrived and there was an invoice inside. They were all packed so beautifully in their little pots, and not one was damaged. This is a wonderful little company, I highly recommend them and will re order.

Touch of Nature has a Touch of Class. This is a small company with a nice color catalog, web site and wonderful prices. They're definitely in line or better than some of the monster wholesale sites with much faster shipping, better service.

I made my order through the web site, received prompt personal communications about the order, was kept up to date on my order. They were extremely accommodating about a last minute change - yep, I wanted MORE.

Everything arrived in great condition, well packaged. I even received some extra daffodils with the order.

Definitely on my "buy" list next year. I can't recommend them more highly. Thanks Bert and Ingrid!!

This summer I again ordered from them and can unquivocally recommend them as reliable folks who are a genuine pleasure and Touch of Nature as an affordable outlet for bulbs and perennials.

Wow! They packed everything so nice and every thing was marked with a named garden marker with all the information about the bulb... ALL the information : the Common name, the scientific name, growing info, description and picture of the flower! The prices were good and they didn't bill my credit card until it was sent. Immediately after ordering they sent me a order confirmation with a order number and also a personal e-mail thanking me and giving me a number and person to call if there are any problems! Very reasuring, they make you feel like you are dealing with a company who cares. The bulbs look great, I KNOW they they will grow, I can't wait to see them bloom next year! I will use this company before any other.


On September 25th, 2002, Crimson changed the rating from positive to neutral and added the following:

I'm going to have to change my rating from positive to neutral.... the 2nd half of my order just arrived, (Sib. Iris) they don't look very healthy, I'm not sure if they'll grow. I won't really know until spring when they either come up or don't they were shipped so late that they won't grow at all this year.
On April 17th, 2003, Crimson changed the rating from neutral to positive and added the following:

Wow!!!! This company is the best! They contacted me this spring, I guess they saw my review on this site (?), to see if the Sib Iris grew! I never contacted them about the Iris, but they went out of thier way to make sure the Sibirian Iris had survived! When I replied they hadn't come up they immediately (within the hour!) replied that they were sending more MONDAY (today is Thursday)! Wow, I'm definately buying from them again and suggesting that my friends do also. Great customer service!

Today I ordered some peruvian daffodils. I called after placing the order to find out when they would come since it is already so late in the season. Bert, who answered, said he had the bulbs (10 of them) and if I cared to be a guinea pig and experiment he would send them and wait for an e-mail from me as to whether or not they grew before charging my account! Now that is a deal! I hope they do and when I e-mail I will send him a picture. This is the first time ever to order from this company and they are over accommodating!


On January 14th, 2003, haighr added the following:

I got a statement yesterday showing a charge from Touch of Nature. I called Bert to inquire as I haven't bought anything since the peruvian dafs. He immediately checked for me and stated that the bill was for the dafs. He never charged me for them until he was sure they bloomed and remained healthy. He just held the bill till the end of the year. What a great person to deal with. He really works on an old fashioned "handshake" in my book!
