from Genoa, NY There's probably no point to adding my negative review as the Matt's Patch website seems to have been taken down. However, I thought it might be worth it in the event the website becomes active again. As others have stated, I also paid for an order of plants in 2025 - the only thing I ever rec'd was an excuse email....about too many orders, boxes too small, yadda yadda. Seems to have been a (successful in that they collected $$ but shipped nothing) scam website.

Purchased $108. worth of pepper plants in March 2025 to be shipped mid April. Same situation as the other posters - no direct communication, only auto-email responses to inquiries and no refunds or plants as of 5/27/25. Their first auto response gave rationale about their dilemma with back orders and faulty suppliers.. They indicted all was finally working and shipments would soon resume.. I have sent two refund requests and have not received any direct communication. Disappointing to say the least.

On March 2, 2025, I placed an online order with Matt’s Patch (#8349) in the amount of $113.88. The items that I ordered were: 5 tomato plants, three pepper plants and one basil plant. I was informed that the order would ship in mid April. On April 15, 2025 (after assuming that the owner was truthful about the shipping date), I decided to place an additional order for my family for Mother’s Day. This order (#3388) in the amount of $100.39 included 12 various pepper plants. As time went on, I had not received a shipping confirmation so I sent an email to inquire about when I could expect my order to arrive. I have yet to receive any correspondence from the owner, aside from an automated email response. There is no phone number to call and I have sent 7 emails with no actual response.

I paid $137 for pepper and tomato starts after my seedlings were killed by unseasonably cold weather. That was two weeks ago. Not only have they not shipped, but any attempt to contact the listed email (I've tried five times) only returns a auto responder, and no other means of communication have been successful. They have links to a Facebook and Instagram page, but the fb page doesn't exist anymore and the Instagram account doesn't reply to messages. The phone number listed similarly returns a "the Google subsciber you've called is not available" message. This is a scam.
