Hand Picked Nursery

I ordered 20 bare root strawberries 17 were Dead on arrival only three showed any signs of life and they died within a couple of days. I contacted the company, they asked me for pictures, I told them I'm sorry I threw the plants away I don't have any pictures.I didn't hear anything back. In the time I waited. I ordered new strawberries from another company planted them exactly the same way and exactly the same space every one of them grew great did great and is doing fine at that point I went to their website and left a negative review and only then did I finally hear back from somebody. At that point all they wanted to do was argue and fight with me, wouldn't live up to their warranty, wouldn't work with me in any way. Terrible customer service.

Beware when buying online. Goes By Hand Picked Nursery on Amazon, Plant World on Etsy and also sells under Strawberry Man Inc. Has HORRIBLE reviews on all those selling platforms. Also sells on eBay. Deserving of negative 10 stars. I bought barefoot strawberry plants from them. Absolutely terrible Amazon seller. Will not honor their own refund/replacement policy. Makes/uses EVERY excuse in the book when they send inferior and useless plants. Wants explanations of soil/growing medium components as well as pictures of everything and asked repeatedly the same questions over and over again. Then wants to argue saying plants are too deep, plants are to shallow or plants arent mulched properly even after it's been explained to them that the mulch was removed so that pictures can be taken. It doesn't matter if you follow their planting instructions to a T, the seller will STILL argue. It looks like their Amazon reviews are pretty bad and now the seller has turned off the review function. After much going back and forth I finally had to tell the seller to stop beating around the bush and either honor their refund/return policy or not. They did not honor their own policy which says a lot about their lack of integrity and honesty. Unfortunately it looks like I may have placed an order on Etsy with this same seller (they were using a different business name). We'll see what kinda of junk they send this time. I definitely won't use this seller again and will inform my vast network of farming/homesteading "friends" that this seller has shady business practices and is not trustworthy. In short, this seller is rude, dishonest, did not follow their own replacement/refund policy, argumentative and just plain difficult to work with. I do not recommend this seller. Save your money, your time and your energy. *Surprisingly, one plant was actually viable. I pointed this out to the seller and they said "well yeah, one plant always survives". Please explain that excuse to me 🤦🏻‍♀️

After hearing good things about HandPickedNursery online, I was surprised to see that the only review here on Dave's was negative. I decided to order from them anyway. I highly recommend them. I think the other user had bad luck, but I can confidently say the customer service and quality offered was fantastic. I ordered 5 blackberries and asparagus roots, and they were large and healthy when I received them. There was a hiccup along the way - initially, the asparagus roots weren't shipped with my blackberries. However, when I reached out to them, they sent them out right away. Overall, I highly recommend HandPickedNursery.

I ordered asparagus from Hand Picked Nursery on 1/18/23. My credit card was immediately charged! As of 3/30/23 it still hadn�t shipped. When I contacted them I was told it would go out on 4/3. On 4/6 they created a label but didn�t give it to the post office. When I asked they stated the post office doesn�t scan at their location, (USPS said they always scan when picking up). As of 4/10 the post office still doesn�t have it AND I can�t reach them because their mailbox is full! I had previously told them to cancel the order but they didn�t. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
