I ordered two Oncidium plants from this mail-order outfit. it appears that the plants were repotted immediately prior to shipping to reduce shipping costs. Neither plant would stand upright in the pots they arrived in, had very little potting material, requiring immediate repotting - a risky venture in a travel stressed condition. The plants themselves had good growth, but the plants clearly looked stressed. I have ordered from other mail order places and they typically take great efforts to thoroughly package the plants and ensure adequate moisture. Clearly, this was not the case with Fantasy Orchids. In addition, they charge an additional fee for handling. This will be my last purchase from this place.

I've purchased orchids from Fantasy both by mail order and at their retail location, and I had good experiences with both. The plants I just received via USPS were well packed and arrived in perfect condition. Prices seem reasonable, and selection is large enough to offer ample choice, but not so large as to be confusing for beginners or those who only occasionally dabble in orchids (like myself). Recommended.
