I recently bought two bags of this alleged topsoil at Lowe's and found it to be, instead, a toxic mulch: it contained chopped-up twigs and what appear to be pelletized rubber, along with concrete-like chunks of clay, and pebbles. In my photos you can see one bag emptied into my wheelbarrow; the other photo shows a close-up view of a spot where I attempted to lay down this "topsoil" in order to plant grass seed. The many negative reviews on the Lowe's website corroborate my experience. Avoid this utterly garbage product! |
