HydroStretch is described as "The ultimate soil amendment for maximum water retention". It is supposed to reduce watering by 3 times and last for 5 seasons in the soil. So far I've only used it on 1/2 dozen container plants and it does seem to be lessen the watering. I'll post again mid-summer with more info. It's a brand new product and may only be available here in Lubbock, Texas at this point. Comes in a little 2 pound size for $20 and the bag is labeled to treat 40-4" pots or 5-12" pots. |
