I bought this about 8 months ago because I had such a great experience with Fiskar's d-handled shovel. The garden fork is just as good. The longer length really helps make the digging seem less arduous, and the D handle also provides a comfortable grip and allows for a variety of holds. The tines are also long and have a triangle shape that seems to bite into the soil well. I've used it to turn soils and compost, and to move/spread straw mulch with good success. I was worried about the handle lasting, but so far, so good. Also, there is a really wide rim to step on, which is nice when you have to break up tough soils.
