Greystone houses probably the largest selection of native shrubs and trees in the Lackawanna/Luzerne area. They also offer a free, e-mail with exclusive sales/discounts, and garden notes. This season they had probably one of the largest selections of Hosta, and Hemerocallis in the area. No one in the area, again, this is observation, not opinion, but no one in the area had anywhere near the amount, cultivars, or varieties of alpine, or alpine like plants than Greystone did. When it comes to several selections of shrubs, no one beets Greystone. Most garden centers have 3-5 varieties of Barberis, Greystone had almost 10. Walking through the garden centers paths also create a sense of "I wonder if I can do this in my garden" it's worth a trip to visit, even if you aren't intent on buying anything! Highly recommended.
