This is a great place. The garden center is smaller than the flagship store, but still well stocked. Wonderful and reasonable house grown perenniels. In season, great shrubs, trees, roses, etc. (but a bit pricey). Can't garden outdoors? Their tropicals/houseplants greenhouse is open all year and is a delight for the senses. Take home a wonderful new houseplant or just browse.
As an added bonus, the garden center is attached to a fantastic cross between a specialty store and a grocery store. You can get beautiful, local organic beef (for a premium) or some of the best prices around for regular ground chuck. The produce is local when available and year round the prices and selection are excellent. There is also a fabulous cheeses, tea and coffee, olives -- I could go on and on. The only area that falls a bit flat is the bakery. The pastries are rather disappointing. The breads are fine, though.
