I have left mad about 80% of the time I have gone to this place. First, no prices are posted. It seems that the prices vary with each visit. As they change their "Big Sale" signs from 50% to 75% and then to 80% the original price seems to go up so the price you pay never changes. Since almost nothing is marked, unless you write down what they told you last time, it’s hard to pin them down on anything. At this year’s sale, I asked about their pricing as I knew something that was "marked down 50%" was almost at the full price. When I pointed this out, I was told that 50% was an average.
If you have to shop at this place, start at Lowes or Home Depot first and compare prices – you will find that much of their inventory can be purchased there for much less. This year they actually had a printed price list for the first time. Maybe they are rethinking their underhanded ways.
We have had some nice spring like days and I had the gardening itch so I visited the Belle Meade Gardener . They could not have been more helpful polite etc. I look forward to shopping with them this spring. I also went by that place by Harding Academy, it looks alot nicer, but who really cares, they were rude and seemed too busy to discuss anything. I'd rather spend my money where they care about the customer
I really don't understand the moaning and groaning about the garden center @ Woodmont. My God, hanging baskets priced at 7.99 and they are great looking and fresh. The pots of vincas and petunias also fresh and priced right at 3.99. It sounds to us gardenman needs to re check this garden center. They are the best and highly attentive. Give me a break these people are the best.

I think these guys need to find another way to cheat people. I checked on their "big" sale and the sale prices were the same as every day prices at creekside right down the street. Being new to town we decided to shop around and I'm glad we did .The staff did not even seem to care that we were there. We will never go back.
