With the location's Mediterranean climate, it's always enjoyable to visit and stroll the gardens throughout the year and see what plants are thriving in this diverse collection. The plants sales are well worth attending!

Amazing gardens, plan to spend at least a day here or more if you have the time. Rare and unusual plants grown in an almost perfect climate. It can be brisk in the garden, bring a jacket and a camera for sure.

Great palm collection at this garden- some of the rarest and best grown south american palms in the world live in this garden. Nice place to walk through and have a picnic (I think you have to eat just outside the gardens)- but take a jacket.. never seems to be warm there.

In my top five of places to visit. Strybing Arboretum has an amazing collection of rare plants. Incredible gardens lure you in and hours can go by completely unnoticed!

Bring your camera! And if you are able, attend the monthly plant sales for some amazing finds!
