I have been getting my Christmas tree from Pine Grove Christmas Tree Farm for many years now, and I can truely say it has become a family tradition we all enjoy and look forward to! My family got our tree for this Christmas season just the other day and the experience was just as I expected it to be...GREAT!! They have several different kinds of beautiful christmas trees at an affordable price! They also have a play area for the kids, free hot chocolate and hayrides, goats, sheep and even pig races!! Bring your kids and make a day if it! You will not be disappointed!
Huge selection, I'd say 10 acres or so, and not just one type of tree, I think they have about 5 species of trees to choose from. Every size and shape and shade of green. The prices are very reasonable. We got a 9 1/2 foot tree for under $50! You select the tree, he cuts it, and drives it back to the little hut. He puts the tree on a shaker to get the loose and dead stuff out, and wraps it with a net, and loaded it in the back of my truck.
Its also true about the goats and other farm type animals, although that wasn't why I went. We got there when they opened for biz at 1pm on a Tuesday, and the hot cocoa wasn't made yet. No big deal, I'm sure he would have obliged if I asked.
We stood and talked with the owner for a few minutes after. I'm thinking of starting my own tree farm closer to Fayetteville. He told me to call him when I did, because he'd come help me set it up. Just an all around pleasant experience. We'll be back next year, until my trees are big enough of course.....
They have Hot Chocolate waiting for you when you arrive. Goats & Chickens for the kiddos to feed. A hayride for the family to enjoy. Beautiful trees, Excellent selection, not expensive. We have found a new tradition, we could never do store bought again!
