Information on Southbranch Nursery Co

I think Southbranch Nursery is a great place to shop. They always have a great selection. The staff will always help me in any way they can. It takes a lot for me to get on here and leave a review, but when i saw what 'gardengirl 2' wrote, I had to comment. In my opinion, she is what is wrong with our society today. I am sure that she is one of those price haglers that is better off furnishing her entire home from wal mart. Well, good luck, but I like to have unique items for my home and I always find something unique at Southbranch Nursery.

I shop at southbranch fairly frequently and I have to say, the staff there puts up with a lot of crap. So many customers come there, uninformed, helpless and just wanting to drain the staff of all the knowledge they can. The staff here is so nice, they end up babysitting the helpless idiots. I know these people do not go to kroger and have the manager explain the differences in the bread they carry, they read the label. Southbranch seems to get dumped with helpless people that wont even bend over and read a tag. I think customers like myself who study plants and read up on things should get a discount. Southbranch is a great garden center and the customer service is number one. And, just like the last reviewer said, those guys do not get commission, so if someone is helpful to you, know these guys are not making much, and remember to tip your salesperson, they are more helpful than the guys at home depot, they know more, but they do not get the same pay and benefits the guys at home depot or lowes get. So these employees deserve some respect.

I've been there several times over the past year or so; prices are competitive, and the staff is friendly. They did seem a bit understaffed, so you might have to wait a bit for one-on-one help...but the wait is worth it! My favorite guy out there is Richard--he really takes his time to figure out what's best for your yard (even if he has to tell you something you don't want to hear!). They don't work on commission as of this post--I've asked--so this isn't me trying to pad someone's pay! :-)

They have mulch, containers, stone (gravel, boulders, and paving), and fertilizers in addition to plants. I didn't give them 5 stars because of the understaffing (as of this post) and the prices on non-plant items.

Wow! what a selection. The staff is great! If you need a hard to get plant, they probally have it in stock. They do design and consulting that has made my yard the nicest on the block. Great Nursery and folks

South Branch Nsy is one of the nicest retail garden centers in the southeast. I have been to numerous garden centers all over the country and South Branch is by far one of the nicest. The value of product is unmatched and I recom. this nursery to all gardeners. A uniqe gem in a world of boring 'box type' garden centers. South Branch offers more than great products, they offer a great experience,!

Very Expensive. They have NO warranty on their items. There is only man who knows anything but i would never buy from them. I just go there to get ideas. They sell most as bulk I guess. Better off with southern creations.
