Information on Stephen F. Austin Mast Arboretum

An overwhelming experience. The care and attention put into this garden is astounding. Prepare to spend MANY hours walking through the miles of trails and enjoying the thousands of different plants present. There are rare plants here that you won't find anywhere else.

Much of the arboretum is in high canopy forest area so it was quite cool even though I visited in the middle of the day.

Absolutely worth the visit.
