This is one of my favorite nurseries here in Texas. I live in Dallas, however, I frequently travel to the Llano area to do some rockhounding, and always stop by Wildseed Farms. Inside the main store, they have a place where you can buy decorations and such, as well as a book area. Walking a little bit further into the room reveals a door that leads to a room full of wild-flower seeds like one would not believe. They have just about any Texas wild-flower you can think of. After you get bored of the main building, you can go outback, and look at their huge array of live plants, which include flowers, herbs, vines, and even cacti! Near the back of the grounds is a huge shed, entirely devoted to pots, so if you need one for the plant that you are guaranteed to walk away with (intentionally or not), you may want to head over there. After paying for everything, you're probably going to be pretty tired. If this is the case, they have a great little place on site that you can order food and cold drinks at, and a large covered patio to shield you from the hot Texas sun. So, if you happen to be near Fredericksburg, or are going to be passing through, make sure you pay them a visit, you will NOT be disappointed!
