Timothy's has a great selection almost all the time. The staff is really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They usually keep the shade-loving plants in the shade and the sun-loving ones in the sun (unlike the Big Box stores - where it just kills me to see a truckload of hydrangea frying in the sun with dry soil).
Besides plant material and landscaping/hardscaping material, Timothy's sells a huge variety of pots and decorative items. These, I have to admit, I find pricey. They are usually very nice and the selection is great, but if you really try, you will probably find the same item, or very close, for a lot less money elsewhere. Still, I like to look.
Bottom line, it's the first place I go when I want to browse for ideas or find a particular plant or tree.
