I went to Drew Farms in Westford to pick pumpkins. While I was pumpkin picking, the owner was quite mean to a child. The owner got right up in the face of the child and asked in an aggressive voice "What are you going to do when the stem breaks?" Everyone was quite confused and the owner asked the same questions again in a very angry tone. The owner was refering to the fact that if you hold a pumpkin by the stem, it may beak off of the stem. If the stem breaks off then the pumpkin is worthless and people put it down and select another pumpkin, leaving the "worthless" pumpkin behind.
When the father of the child interviened the owner said, "If you don't like it hear, you can leave"
Wow, thanks for a "great time", I'm sure not going to Drew farms in Westford anymore.
