We have done business with Green Mtn. Landscaping for many years. The owner, Buckwheat Lowe, is a working owner and always treats us very well. We have had trees planted by his crew and they are always polite and have treated our property with the greatest of care. He stands behind his products as was the case with a tree that died. He replaced the tree- no questions asked. We highly recommend this company that has been in business for over 30 yrs.
My company contracted Green Mountain Landscaping to mow and trim the grounds of our facility. Valuable and well established perennials were mowed along with the grass. When issue was addressed with the crew chief I was treated and spoken to rudely. My complaints were ignored on site. Calling the owner was frightening, then I discovered the following:
Sept. 5, Richard Lowe, 59, of Morrisville was charged with accessory before the fact in petit larceny.
Albert Cole of Derby was fired by Green Mountain Lanscaping Inc.; in January, Cole sued the company and owner Richard Lowe, alleging he was wrongfully fired.
A federal judge in Burlington ruled this month that the case can proceed, and dismissed the company’s request to dismiss the suit.
