This is very nice nusery with as nice a selection of flowers (annuals, perennials, roses, clematis, tropicals, shrubs, etc..) as you will find. Friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff as well, but the prices are steep. Many of the flowers can be found less expensively at other nurseries in the area even many of the harder to find varities. The plants are however of very nice quality and you certainly wont be disappointed with a trip to Russell's.

Russells is a really nice place. Knoweldgable staff for those new to gardening. Their end of season sale was awesome last year picked up some great plants at awesome prices. Regular season prices are on the steep side but if you dont mind that you get high quality plants.

Russell's is my favorite nursery in the Greater Boston area. The perennial selection is quite large and of high quality; shrubs and trees are more limited but also of high quality. Prices are cheaper than Mahoney's if you compare sizes head-to-head. Best of all, I've found the staff to be friendly, solicitous, and knowledgeable. Highly recommended!

Russell's is a great garden center and nursery that carries just about everything. They have a knowledgeable staff which is hard to find these days. They carry the tried and true plants and unusual varieties for the collector. In spring time it is fun to shop there for unusual annuals and tropicals for my containers. I am sure to find plants that are not available other places. In spring and fall they sponsor two free garden event days where there are gardening lectures, music, food and vendors and things for the kids to enjoy. Lots of fun to shop here!

Russell's is a huge garden center with great selection of perennials, annuals, and houseplants. They also have a good selection of shrubs. In addition, they have a big gift shop, water gardens, cut flower shop, and I am sure I have forgotten other things too. The prices are not the lowest but the quality is generally excellent and the people who work there are very knowledgable.
