Information on Mayo Garden Center

A fairly typical garden center. Lots of good veggies and herbs in the spring, otherwise a pretty standard assortment of annuals, perennials, and woodies. They do carry the Biltmore "brand" of summer bulbs, which I like. There are several branches of Mayo centers -- visit the Farragut store for more trees and shrubs, and the Powell store for more perennials.

Lovely plants, good selection, but pricey.

Visiting Mayo Garden Center was my first foray into buying plants as a newly-married apartment dweller back in the early 80s. (A couple hanging baskets were all we had room for, and could afford.) My untrained eye didn't know what to look for, but it was fun exploring and learning!
