I planted this last weekend and so far (it's Tuesday) the Kniphofia seems to be coming along quite nicely in both sun and part shade--more shoots coming up, etc... We did have quite a bit of rain this weekend. Will update in the summer though.

I watered twice a week as it is hot and dry here in Rosenberg Texas where I live. Does anyone have any thoughts as to why the Alcazar never came up? The Liatris and the Echinacea both came up beautifully and I've enjoyed them both, but can't figure out what went wrong with the Alcazar.
