With age the yellow softens somewhat, and the areas of pale yellow to white begin to emerge. Some blooms have a yellow cup with a wide edge of very pale yellow to white. On others the entire cup is very pale yellow to near white.
I planted a large variety of daffodils in my garden. This has become one of my favorites. Despite its medium size and height and subtle color, the profusion of bright yellow blooms with white contrast make quite a charming statement in the garden. In my garden it has multiplied freely, blooms heavily, and attracts lots of attention.
