Without any significant pruning it looks like a very large bonsai. It transplanted well with only a small amount of transplant shock. It leafs out in early May. This would be a spectacular addition to anyone's landscaping. The only problem we have found with the tree is that the Japanese Beetles love the leaves. We treated with powdered Sevin and found that it took care of the problem.
