It has climbed up my sabal palm tree, so it is in partial shade and partial sun, and its about 10-12 ft high and now the vine is dangling. It cannot go any higher. I have been trying to find out when it has its pods. I cannot seem to find out how long it takes to produce seed pods. it has 3 leaves every so many inches. I wish it would hurry up and have pods. any info would be great

I scarified the seed by scraping on the concrete, which was extremely difficult. This bean is HARD! Got it to grow, and it grew to about 6 feet in length before the landscapers sprayed it with poison because it looks like poison ivy (3 leaves). Oh well, it was fun to grow!
