The leaves I do have are small, and lots of them burned to a crisp, even though I gave this tree sufficient water. Going to see if it dose any better next season.

I just chalked it up to bad luck and a mis-labeled tree. When it bloomed this spring, I was amazed to finally see the beautiful rosy-hued flowers appear. All told, it's a pretty little tree and seems to do very well in central illinois.
