Extremely fragrant, finely cut silvery-green foliage, stems with silver scales. Cut back to a stem bud late fall. Drought tolerant, deer resistant and care free.
Excellent cut flower, but the silver scales will coat your hands and gloves. Long lasting and fragrant in the vase, dries easily.
I also have a "Little Spire" in a more pronounced flower bed. But I let my cluster of 3 abrotanoides sprawl wildly in the back border and thoroughly enjoy my wispy summer cloud. Even my husband, who prefers very structured and formal plants, likes these - "pretty cool".
