At the Chicago Botanic Gardens 2004 hardy geranium evaluations, it bloomed for about 7 weeks and reached 4' across. It earned 3.5-4 stars out of a possible 5. [HYPERLINK@www.chicagobotanic.org]
Rebloom is better in cool-summer climates. It is said to tolerate poor drainage better than most geraniums.
Geranium sanguineum x G. procurrens. The leaves look like G. sanguineum and the flowers and habit are more like G. procurrens. The stems weave and climb but unlike G. procurrens they do not root.
