I saw this gorgeous tall bush on the NW corner of a building that was LOADED with the most beautiful shrimp colored blooms. A few weeks later while driving by.. I saw a woman outside the building. I stopped and asked her about the rose. She told me that her husband had gotten it about 30 years earlier. She took no special care of it (it is still the only rose on their property) and it is planted in the ground with a tire around it (?). I asked at the local nursery and they said it was probably a "Sonia".. in fact the owner of the nursery's wife liked it so much she named her daughter after it. They had one for sale & I bought it..LOVE this rose!!!

Hybridized by Meilland, 1974. Slight scent.
Such a sweet color to this rose, I would have to call it a "Strawberry Cream" Pink. I really like it.
