Last winter, he mailed me some pods, which I dried out and then germinated. Several of my friends and I are growing plants from these seeds and they are growing very well outside in the gardens. The pods are hot and full of flavor. We use them in salsa and soups. I will grow them every year as long as I can get the seeds from my son's plant. It is amazing that this plant has lived almost four years.
