This is a native tree for my part of the country. I have 3 very large ones growing around the house .... great summer shade ... lots of ...Read Morefall clean up. I don't have any grass to water which is a good thing for these oaks .... they do not like lots of water in the summer ... it will kill them. I don't have this as a positive remark since these are native trees and they are quite messy all year long in a yard setting.
