It goes from rich dark/medium green all winter to extremely multicolored (red, pink, cream, yellow, light green and then dark green again) in spring and early summer. Between the multi colored leaves and the beautiful droopy white flowers, this is definitely one of those plants you stop and do a double take and think “WHAT IS THAT?!”. Very cold tolerant as well, matter of fact it’s almost TOO warm here in Salt Lake City, Utah (7b) to be planted in the sun.
