I purchased a Momo boton as a bare root and potted in a 12" shallow water lily pot. The plant grew very well and the foliage was beautiful in the pond, but it never bloomed for me. The roots quickly circled the pot and several years later I tried to divide the roots in early spring (along with another lotus) and ended up killing both plants. Have decided to leave the dividing of these to the "experts." I wish I could have seen it flower, because mine didn't in over 3 years, I only give it a neutral rating.
