I grew this plant in Massachusetts (zone 6) successfully. It grew in full sun, and I liked it for its huge eye catching chartreuse leaves...Read More which made quite a statement. Grown in full sun this plant needs quite a lot of water (to keep these large leaves going). It is prone to insect damage, so you need to spray the leaves to prevent that. I used to cut the flowers off, because I did not particularly care for them, and they did not go with my overall color scheme. Also the plant would start to look poorly/ spent after it was allowed to flower. It forms large clumps.
