It bears lots of large, round, red berries in late summer and fall. One came up by itself at my parent's house from a few plants across the street. We got rid of it later on as it kept growing outward too much. I haven't seen it yet invading into the wild, but it could and become another invasive Asian plant somewhere. It is only infrequently found in Midwestern landscapes here and there.
