This is the most commonly grown species of this genus, and you can see it grown in many gardens in Miami, Florida. It's a fairly 'ordina...Read Morery' looking palm to me, but has a bit of a coconut palm look, perhaps crossed with a Kentia palm. Supposedly does OK as an indoor palm, too, if given lots of light and humidity. Grows to about 50' tall. Native of the Philippines.
