The blooms are beautiful, large, close to white and ruffled, but ever spring, it is afflicted with spring sickness and suffers. The daylilies in close proximity on either side of it are not affected nor is anything else in my yard. But the spring foliage emerges yellow looking, twisted and split. This seems to set back the vigor of the scapes so that they never reach full height. It has never bloomed more than a foot tall for me, yet with full size flowers. A bit of a frustration since there seems to be, as yet, no explanation or remedy for spring sickness.
This daylily may be a diploid, but it has huge thick white blooms. It blooms heavily for me late July into August.
