It has long, leathery and shiny deep green leaves, with short and thick petioles. The leaves are also toothed near the top, and the foliage is concentrated in the end of the branches. The flowers show up near the branch tops. The are white, wich pink touches on the margin of the petals, 5 cm across, very fragrant, and something around 100 white stamens in the middle.
