On the Gardenweb Rose Forum I met someone who grew it.
She lived 500 miles away from me.
I arranged my summer vacation so I could drive up and see her.
Her plant wasn't the healthiest I would have liked and it was growing under the shade of huge pines which didn't help things either.
I took two pitifully small cuttings and kept them moist and cool until I got back home.
I put them into my rooting box -- and one month later I had two little rooted Abracadabras -- hurray!
Now to the rose.
The colors of this rose are absolutely out of this world.
A blend of every pastel color imaginable.
AND it is fragrant.
The plant does very well on its own roots by the way.
