Profuse bloomer; deadhead regularly for continual blooms.
Hardy, low maintenance plant; no incidences of mildews, blackspot, mites or borers. Drought tolerant, does need supplemental watering in dry, warm, sunny winters

Habit: 4.5'h x 3'w. Wait to prune in spring before bud break to avoid too much winter die back and the need to prune twice.

Very popular with pedestrians who often request a bloom or two to enjoy.

Bloom: Orange & orange blend [ARS ob] blooms. Strong, Spicy fragrance. 26 to 40 petals. Average diameter 6". Large, double bloom form. Repeats its bloom again later in the season.
Habit: Height of 5' (150 cm).
Growing: Zone 6 and higher. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
